Macaque family gathered and grooming in snowy mountains of Nagano prefecture of Japan. The northernmost Macaques on Earth and with a reputation to warm up in the valley's thermal baths.

A Shirakawa-go village gassho-style house with its famous steep thatched roof built without nails. Gorgeous, tranquil, and a 5 hour journey from Tokyo into the mountains.

Tower of Yasaka, a buddhist pagoda dated back to the 7th century. The street is typically packed with tourists, but much easier to photograph at dawn!

Dusk in Shinjuku. Wander around any city long enough and you'll find something that screams "take my picture" just as much as this wall.
